New Job

Right before spring break I was offered a position at a salon called The Wave. I was excited to have been offered a job, but was still very leery accepting it. The reason I was leery was because a week earlier I was told they weren't hiring.
I started the job the week after spring break and was on training. I had to do all the goofy things like training and kissing ass. Training was boring and almost made me more leery of the position.
I was happy about the job becasue I liked the girls I got to work with but one of them still seemed a little weird. Now that I have gotten to know them I still like them all, but I definitely bonded more with one than the others.
The job is going good so i guess first impressions arent all completely true. They definitly are a group of gossipy girls but all very nice and very good at what they do. I am glad i get to work and learn from them. Its definitely showed me I don't want to do this forever but I am glad about where i am now. It is a big change though with school and it has taken a lot of my time away from school work I should really be doing and devoting my time to.

Spring Break

It seems like every time I get a big break I need some type of crazy surgery. Last year I needed my wisdom teeth pulled right before New Years eve. They wanted to pull them on New Years Eve but luckily I said no. They puled them the second and ruined that break. This year for my spring break I needed my tonsils taken out.
I had a lot of gross weird symptoms and I was always sick. So, I decided to go to the doctor and see what was up. He told me I had cryptic tonsils which meant my tonsils were infected.
I couldnt see missing school to pay to get my tonsils out. i felt like if i did that I would be paying for school and paying for the surgery and that sucks. So, I ended up getting my tonsils out the Thursday before spring break.
The surgery wasn't to bad, I just felt really thirsty afterward. It was a horrible recovery and I still feel kinda messed up. I was miserable for at least two weeks and during that I thought it wasn't worth it at all. I am glad now that it is done and i don't have to worry about all those gross symptoms.
